About us
Hey, we are Nelson Brewing Company. We are family-owned, a little quirky, and don’t take ourselves too seriously. But we take care of each other, work hard, and have fun. We are also on a mission to get great beer into the hands of more people.
We’re looking for a capable, professional supervisor with an eye for detail to join our brewery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team of production workers and will be expected to regularly check quality control on all packaging and shipping projects. Skills such as problem solving, organization and communication are crucial, as is an ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate packaging team
- Monitor quality control in relation to all warehouse activities
- Communicate daily with Operations and Production Managers
- Supervise canning and kegging machine operators
- Oversee inventory management, including lot tracking and product rotation
- Direct cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of packaging equipment
- Execute training for all packaging and warehouse duties
- Operate forklift
- Oversee and participate in operation of all packaging machinery
- Monitor efficiencies and output of packaging department
- Perform and supervise general cleaning duties
Requirements:
- A passion for craft beer
- Minimum two years working in a leadership or supervisor role
- Experience working with machines or production equipment
- Acute attention to detail and commitment to excellence
